The research aimed to determine a representation of women in the poster Warkop DKI comedy film (Dono, Kasino, Indro) 1980-1989 from woman point view. involvement as models media was not yet clear terms their roles; however, could be used more commodities capitalism reap profits. In patriarchal rule, men were assumed created culture-making other subordinated. applied descriptive qualitative methods by collecting data using documentation techniques. collected reducted, presented, and concluded. Roland Barthes’ semiotic theory analyze design elements that contained exploitation female body. results find (1) are only subordinated attract men, potential viewers. (2) Film posters show sexual eroticism is made into high-selling quite promising commodification.
